In this video, we’ll look at how to edit listings in Flex MLS Web. We’ll see how to access the Change Listings screen and how to make updates to the listing data, price, and status. Let’s begin by looking at two options to access the Change Listings screen. The first way is to open your menu and select Change Listing. Then, select a status, and click on the listing you’d like to edit. A second way to access the Change Listings screen is from any search results page. For example, I can use my menu and go to My Listings or My Office Listings. Find the listing you’d like to edit, click the drop down arrow next to the MLS number and select Edit Listing.
The Change Listings screen will display all options available to you to edit the listing. Under the General section, you will see your options for editing your listing data including the Supplement, Map Location, and listing and selling members as allowed by your MLS. For example, if you want to update some details in the listing data, click on Listing Information, then update the fields as needed.
Click Save to apply the changes. According to your MLS rules, you may be able to edit the current price by clicking on Change listing price. Enter the new price and click Save to apply the change.
Your MLS may also allow you to change the listing’s status. The Status section displays the listing’s current status. To change it, click on the desired status. For example, the current listing is active. To change it to pending, click on Panned Listing. Then complete the required fields, which will vary depending on your MLS. Click Save to apply the changes.
Under the Media section, you can upload photos, documents, or the links for videos and virtual tours just as you could on the Incomplete Listings screen during the Add Listing process. Your MLS may also have a section to schedule marketing activities, where you can schedule an open house for the listing or add your listing to a tour of homes. Finally, there are helpful links at the top of the page where you can view even more listing information. You can click to view the listing’s history, a listing activity report that shows how many people have clicked on the listing, and printable input forms for listing data, or even an option to share the listing via social media. This concludes the tutorial on the Change Listing function in FlexMLS Web. Thank you.
