Quick Search: Selecting A Datashare MLS

If your MLS shares listing data with another MLS, this video will show you how to select which MLS or MLSs you’re searching in. If your MLS participates in a data share, you’ll see the MLS option at the top of the search template. Click to expand and view your choices. Select which MLS you’d like to search. If you’d like to include multiple MLSs in your search results, hold your control key, command key for Mac users, and click on multiple options.

Now you can continue the search as normal and enter your search criteria. Please note, only fields that are in common between the MLSs you’ve selected will appear on the search template. If you’d like to change which MLSs are selected by default each time you begin a search, use your menu to go to the General Preferences.

On the Search tab, find the setting for MLSs to search by default. Toggle the MLSs you’d like to include. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Save.

Now, whenever you begin a quick search, those MLSs will be selected by default.
