Josh

Josh joined FBS in 2013 as a member of the CPR team where he enjoys working on conversions, doing member training, and documenting new features in Flexmls. Over the past 12 years he has lived in Texas, Mississippi, Louisiana, and Washington, D.C and North Dakota. Although he recently moved to Texas, Josh considers himself an honorary southerner and enjoys attending anvil shoots, crawfish boils, and using the word y’all with impunity.

If you want a quick lesson on how to add videos and virtual tours to your listings this video is for you!

To add videos or virtual tours to your listings, go to the Change Listings screen and select a listing.

Then go to the Media section and click the link for Videos and Virtual Tours.

Here, select whether you’d like to add a video or virtual tour.

Enter a description for the video, then paste in the link to the embed code or URL for the video or virtual tour. If you enter a URL, FlexMLS will attempt to generate a valid embed code for the link. If your MLS allows branded videos and virtual tours, you will see an option asking if the video contains branding. If yes, check the box.

Then you can enter the embed code or URL for the unbranded version.

Please note, your MLS will define which versions will be available in emailed links for the interactive version of your listings. Next, select the visibility status. When set to public, anyone who is viewing the listing will be able to view the videos or virtual tours. When set to private, it ensures the video or virtual tour is only available to members or agents using Flex MLS. It will not be publicly available. Private Well Off Market allows the video or virtual tour to be public when the listing is active, but changes it to private when the listing is off market.

After making your selections, click save. Back on the video and virtual tour page, you can see the visibility status. In this case, it’s private while off market. You can also drag and drop to rearrange the order if you have multiple videos or virtual tours.

Finally, you can click the three dots to edit, preview, or remove the video.

When viewing listings on a search results page, videos and virtual tours can be found on the photos tab immediately after the listing’s primary photo. Select the video or virtual tour, then click the link to launch it in a new window. This concludes the tutorial on adding videos and virtual tours to listings in Flex MLS. Thank you.
