Josh joined FBS in 2013 as a member of the CPR team where he enjoys working on conversions, doing member training, and documenting new features in Flexmls. Over the past 12 years he has lived in Texas, Mississippi, Louisiana, and Washington, D.C and North Dakota. Although he recently moved to Texas, Josh considers himself an honorary southerner and enjoys attending anvil shoots, crawfish boils, and using the word y’all with impunity.

In this video, we’ll look at how to search for a different property type or even multiple property types in the quick search. First, go to the quick search screen. When you go to the quick search, the search template that you used most recently is selected by default. In this example, we’re looking at residential listings. If I’d like to search for a different property type, like land for example, click on the search template dropdown and select a different property type.

Now I’m searching for vacant land and lots. If you’d like to search for multiple property types at once, click the search template drop down and look for a template that indicates that you can select multiple property types.

When using a multi property search, you can click on the property type line and select the property types that you would like to include. Use the control key or command key if you’re using a Mac to make multiple selections. In this example, I’ll search for residential and land.

Now my search is including both residential and land listings. I can enter my search criteria below and continue my search.
