Josh is a Flexmls trainer at FBS.

Josh

Josh joined FBS in 2013 as a member of the CPR team where he enjoys working on conversions, doing member training, and documenting new features in Flexmls. Over the past 12 years he has lived in Texas, Mississippi, Louisiana, and Washington, D.C and North Dakota. Although he recently moved to Texas, Josh considers himself an honorary southerner and enjoys attending anvil shoots, crawfish boils, and using the word y’all with impunity.

If you want to learn how to search public and private remarks, this video is for you!

In this video, we’ll look at how to search the public or private remarks fields for specific keywords that I’d like to find. Once you’ve selected the search template, you may or may not see the public and private remarks fields. If they’re not available, click on Add a field to the search. I’ll type in the word remarks in order to bring up all of my remark fields. Then I’ll select the fields I’d like to add. In this example, I’ll choose public and private remarks.

Once the fields have been added, I can begin using them. If I’d like to search the public remarks field for the word upgrade, I type in upgrade into the search bar under public remarks. The system then searches through all of the remarks fields for the word upgrade to appear anywhere within the remarks. Both the public remarks and the private remarks behave this way. If I go to the listing detail page, each of the listings will have the word upgrade somewhere within the remarks.
