Josh

Josh joined FBS in 2013 as a member of the CPR team where he enjoys working on conversions, doing member training, and documenting new features in Flexmls. Over the past 12 years he has lived in Texas, Mississippi, Louisiana, and Washington, D.C and North Dakota. Although he recently moved to Texas, Josh considers himself an honorary southerner and enjoys attending anvil shoots, crawfish boils, and using the word y’all with impunity.

Do you want to run a search that includes Active, Pending and Closed listings? Watch this video and learn how to create a search that includes multiple statuses.

And when you’re finished with the video you can check it out in Flexmls with guidance.

In this video, we’ll look at how to include multiple statuses in your search results. On the search template, find the Status field. By default, most MLSs have only Active selected. Click to expand the Status field and see all of the available options. You may have to use the scroll bar to the right of the Status field to see all the available statuses.

Let’s say for example that I want to include active, pending, and closed listings in my search results. I will hold down my control key, command key if you’re using a Mac, and make my selections on each status.

When I select statuses like pending and closed, the off market dates automatically appear beneath the statuses. There, I can use the calendars to set the specific dates that I would like to include. Once you’ve selected the desired statuses, complete the rest of your search criteria.

When you view the results on the list tab, you can sort the results by status. Click on the Status column header and select Ascending or Descending order.
