Josh

Josh joined FBS in 2013 as a member of the CPR team where he enjoys working on conversions, doing member training, and documenting new features in Flexmls. Over the past 12 years he has lived in Texas, Mississippi, Louisiana, and Washington, D.C and North Dakota. Although he recently moved to Texas, Josh considers himself an honorary southerner and enjoys attending anvil shoots, crawfish boils, and using the word y’all with impunity.

If you want to make your search results a bullseye this is the video for you! Learn how to zero in on listings around an address in Flexmls Web by using the Radius Search.

In this tutorial, we’ll look at how to draw a radius around an address in Flexmls Web. Begin by going to the QuickSearch.

On the QuickSearch screen, we’ll use the map.

Select the Locate Address icon in the lower right corner. It looks like a pushpin. Enter in the address that you’d like to find.

Once you’ve entered the address, click on locate. A pushpin will appear on the address. If necessary, you can click, drop, and drag the pushpin to rearrange its position. Once you have it where you want it, click use this location. The popup that appears allows you to draw a radius by clicking radius search. The default for the radius is one mile.

You can change that to any distance you wish. Once you have it set at the distance you’d like, click create radius.

Zoom out and you’ll see that a radius has been drawn around the pushpin. Now you can use your quick search template to continue adding search criteria.

In this example, I’ll add pending and closed listings to our search, put in a specific list price, and enter some additional search criteria. Whenever you’re ready to view the results, click on any of the results tabs to view the details. This concludes the tutorial on drawing a radius around an address in Flexmls Web. Thank you.
